if I remember correctly, i think last year it started in Red wing and winded it's way through the hills of belvidere to Goodhue. Going within a two miles of my house, this year it is going to be 5-6 miles away, No big difference and I think that the racers will appreciate the less hilly route. Either way it will probably pass unnoticed by the citizens of Goodhue, who have little or no appreciation for the sport of cycling.

hey I am wearing my shirt for it today that is wierd. Also to the guy who said you can drink beer, one time my friend and i have volunteered to help, so we get sent to put up these banners. It starts just absolutely pouring and we are soaking wet and the banners are getting tougher to put up. This was much to the amusement of the drunks sitting on the patio at uhhh i think it was Brits. They spent 10 minutes yelling helpful hints and commenting how I looked like frodo baggins. ahh good times

I've always had fun attending the races. I usually try to get to two of them at least.
One of my favorite photos I have taken was from the festival when it was in Winona one year. I was shooting for the local newspaper at the time and actually wrote my very first published story (outside of school) to go along with it. Kinda fun seeing my name in the byline.

Olympic gold-medalist Marty Nothstein races around the corner of Main and Mill streets Friday afternoon during the Nature Valley Grand Prix. Nothstein finished second, losing to Hilton Clarke of Australia.

I remember viewing from both The Local and Brits during the Minneapolis crit!
I will have a FULL table full of my goods at the Mankato race venue for looking at and purchasing. If anyone makes it down here, please stop by and check it out!
