This is an opportunity to voice your support and aid in the planning of the Interlachen Blvd/Blake Road Bicycle Trail. The announcement below was distributed by the City of Edina.
"In 2003 the City of Edina was given a federal grant through the Met Council to construct a recreational trail along Interlachen Boulevard and Blake Road from Vernon Avenue to the Southwest LRT Trail in Hopkins, The City of Edina will be hosting an Open House on Tuesday March 14, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Edina City Hall. This meeting is to review the preliminary plans and schedule for this trail. There will not be any formal presentation during this open house. Also, there are no special assessments planned for this project that would be levied against any properties. We anticipate construction of this trail in 2007 or 2009."
