Ok, it's not off road but it seemed like it today. In case anyone wants to know.
Rode Hwy 100 (costco athletic club area) on the Cedar trail to Penn. The trail was deep snow & very anaerobic. At Penn the trail was plowed, wahoo! It has an inch or so at 6:30am. Made it over to the greenway which was plowed but had 2-3 inches & increased as I went towrad Hopkins. Got off at 36th street, hoigaards area, & rode home on side streets.
I rode a SS 32x20 with old continental cc tires, homemade road warrior studs. The peanut tread and studs both helped. Skinny stud tires may work better..good luck.
