as to Bucks request. here is some info for you guys on the new Dh race in Wisconsin. With much work by A few members Of C.O.R.P. the local chapter of W.O.R.B.A., there will be a D.H. race held on D.N.R. land. the course is a direct copy of most world cup race coures, just a bit smaller.

course will include: drops no more then 4', logs, ruts, whoops, rollers, small table tops, big rock slabs, rock gardens, roots, and much more.

the D.H. race will be held on July 8th. same day as the 24 hours of blue mounds race. here is a link for directions. http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&rmm=1&un=m&cl=EN&qq=hltF3hzNT9tNhURP0HLlhh9UYBmHRqyBceg4Gkon14D8uew Lk7pjHQ%253d%253d&ct=NA&rsres=1&1y=US&1ffi=&1l=&1g=&1pl=&1v=&1n=&1pn=&1a=&1c=&1s=&1z=&2y=US&2ffi=&2l=&2g=&2pl=&2v=&2n=&2pn=blue+mounds+state+park&2a=&2c=blue+mounds&2s=wI&2z=

here is the full info on the race. this is from the race director.

Ok here is the deal, I am the race director,
The course is a DH course not a freeride course! Taylor is correct in the fact that it is modeled after a WC course. the course has drops, ridable rock gardens, off camber turns, it flows from one challenge to another, it is a course that will challange your skill as a DH RACER, not a hucker!!!!! It will challange you to show how smooth you are, how much flow you have and how proficent you are as a racer. there are small jumps and drops but only in the form found in a WC course. This is like the short tracks on the WC. I was back out at the course yesterday, I thought I wanted to change the line to make it more intense but I did not change a thing!!!!! The finish is a high speed open grass slope, jump to look down turn into the finish. There is all kinds of spectator areas and the finish will be pack with park goers and racers from the other 2 races being held that day. there will be advanced and begginers divisions. There will be a shuttle, we will be only pre running the day of the race. THE COURSE IS NOT OPEN!!!!! Remember this race is on DNR land and they can pull the plugg anytime for stupid stuff!!!!!

I hope all who race the Blue mound course really like it, but if they don't we will listen and try to make a better course next year!!!!! Remember this course will challange your mental, physical and riding ability's. DH is not all bashing through stuff like a bull in a china shop, there is a true art to being a really good DH racer, look at Pete, Cederic ,Sam Hill they flow, they float over stuff that would give most people fits, they don't just bash stuff around!!!!!

Bottom line, The race will be good,
