Ice Race Canceled!!

After checking out the lake and trails last night, I've decided to cancel the last Ice Race for this Saturday, 3/11. With 2-8+ inches of slush on top of the ice in most places, it makes it hard to determine if there might be any thin areas on the ice. Also, with the frost leaving the ground, the likelihood of trail damage would be almost a guarantee. The cook-out/picnic that was planned (we were going to order pizza) will be rolled over into Hollywood Cycles 1-year-anniversary-party later on in the afternoon (starting around 6:00-ish).

The Ice Races will continue next year with MORE and BETTER events. Hopefully we'll have more ice and snow to work with!!:) Thank YOU to everyone that raced, watched, or just hung-out. Please come back next year!!!!!!

The other ice races were so much fun! Can't wait until next winter....okay a little lie, but seriously......the ice races helped make winter a lot more fun.
