Lebanon Closed for spring thaw

Lebanon is closed for the spring thaw. Please stay off the trail until MORC and Dakota County open it up again.

Even after the snow melts, there is still a lot of condensation on the cold ground. This will leave the trail soft and muddy when there hasn't been any rain.

Man it is nice outside. I live a few miles from leb and my backyard now has standing water over most of it and is a soaked sponge in the rest of the area. Surprised they waited this long to close it, however it does have more shade protection than my backyard, which is also why my backyard will be dry before the trail is ready to open back up. Somehow I can see week 1 of trail opening being a busy week for leb.
