I think there is a large motorcycle salvage yard Jordan.

Another place to check would be here

Beau, what do you want the engine for?

For my Mini.

I have searched crashed toys, and sport wheels can be spendy. I'm looking for a private seller with something cheap.

I have often thought of this same project. Right now I plan on concentrating on my current project car. But at some point I want to build one of these up. I just can't imagine how much fun it could be.

We use to call it Junk Wheels back in the 70's. Check ebay many times salvage title bikes are on there, Usualy don't get much bidding. Remember I use to be a motorcycle mech.

Oh yeah, don't think you're gonna get out of helping me either! :D

I check fleabay daily. I might have a couple guys watching the dealer auctions too. There are some really good deals there,

Well I am putting full coilovers, roll bar, seats, 6 point harnesses in my car. I am trying to get my Time Trial Lisence with NASA this season. If I ever get tired of this car then I will look at the Mini Project. I don't know if I should really consider my current car a project car.

So do you have an old Mini or a new MINI/BINI?

BTW....BMW is HAWT!

I don't have a Mini right now, though I have parked the Coupe next to a Bini and its only a couple of inches longer, pretty much same wheel base.

The plan would be to get and original Mini in the future. If I ever get bored with the Coupe, can't see that happening.:D
