I am doing a little cleaning and have decided to sell my first mountain bike. The frame is chromoly. I turned it into a makeshift SS. It is a fully rideable bike. Nothing special for parts and the wheelset is original. I was thinking $65 for the whole thing. I will post pics tomorrow.:D

This would be a great SS project bike. The 17" chromoly frame is a '94 or '95. The wheelset is original(Weinmann) They would be good for a beater bike, but they are pretty true, rear has a slight flat spot. The rear tire will be replaced with one that matches the front.(Trek Connection) The crankset is mismatched. The drive side is STX and the nondrive is no name, but matches the look of the STX. Rear der. is Altus and i was using it as a chain tensioner. There are NO grips or shifters on this bike. The brake levers are original, as well as the canti brakes. $65 obo (oh yeah you can have the shimano cage pedals too)
I do not want to ship it so arranging for pick up or a rendezvous site would be best. Thanks. -Porter

The first $50 takes it!!! The frame is solid. Its just taking up space in my garage right now. I was going to do something with it but then I picked up a steel frame with horizontal dropouts. PM me or post up if you're interested. Thanks.

Oh, the 820. I have the same one hanging in my garage that I just took apart and cleaned.
Now I have a nice shiny bike for my Grand Avenue commuting.

Wanna just sell the wheels and I am guessing the 7 speed cassette? :) $25 for 'em

It is actually only a 6 spd cassette I think. I believe it was an 18spd when it was new. If it still works for you I'd sell them to you for $20 Pete.

If no one picks up the whole bike I will take 'em. I don't want to steal the wheels out from under a potential buyer. :)

I might go for the rest of the bike for $30. I've got a slew of wheels that could use a home.

Sounds good to me. If you want the frame and parts for $30 and the wheels go to Pete for $20. Both of you PM me if that sounds like a deal and then we can work out a good time to make the exchange.
