Thought I'd post a want for a 120-130mm travel trailbike fork. I'd prefer something coil sprung with some sort of lockout feature. Let me know what you may have for sale.

I also have a few things I could offer in trade:

Blackspire KM-1 BMX BB chainguide, brand new in box

Older Rock Shox SID XC with Englund air

A pair of Hayes mechanical discs

Some older Shimano XT V barkes with shifter pods

And some other stuff...

Thanks_Dan

How much would you want for the Hayes? Just curious. How old and how much use on them?

I dunno, $45? They are about 1.5 years old, but the rotors are brand new with about 2 rides on them. I've used the brakes on those 2 rides, that's it. They have been in my parts box for the past year.

Oh, and I think the pads are new, or at least one set of them. I'd have to look.

Not bad. I just need hubs for them. Let me check with the family CFO to see if the funds are there. Are you going to the swap meet on Sunday?

Is that for both or each? Now, I just need hubs. Are you going to the swap meet on Sunday? I should know if it's a go by then. I might even get hubs there! :crazy2:

Sounds good, just let me know if you want 'em. I won't be making it to the swap, but I go through WBL on my way home from work most evenings.

That'd be for the whole shootin' match. :D I priced them what I'd likely get for them on eBay...

I will note that price does not include levers or cables. Just rotors, calipers and pads.

They should work with XTR v-brake levers, right?

I believe they will, they should work with all linear-pull levers.

You are correct Dan, his lever's will work with them. Good deal Tom, you beat me to the punch on these. Your getting them from a good MORC'er.:etard:

Dan, you didn't tell me I had company looking at the frame! J/K, get this frame from him Austin. So I can quit thinking about it. I don't need another frame, I don't need another frame. I don't think it's working.

Don't worry, not swapping that one until you tell me so. That's why I left it off the list. :D

Haha! Well, I need to liquidate some of this stuff to fund parts for my new Inbred 456 build!

If you get a T-shirt with "I don't need another frame" on it, maybe that'll help! :D

I have a fork for sale a Shiver SC, it has 120mm travel and has the E.C.C. (extension control cartridge) which locks it down to 20mm of travel for climbing. I have it listed you can check out the post here (http://www.morcmtb.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15931)

Thanks Phil, but I think the shiver with 20mm axle is a bit overkill for this particular build. :D

Are you asking about the adaptor, Tom. The brake caliper itself is made for all.

I took it as asking about the rotor, but I'm not sure there is a difference?

All of the rotors are a universal size to fit any hub, QR or 20mm. The only thing that might not fit exactly that you need an adapter for would be if you didn't have the proper style mounts on the fork for the caliper (Hayes uses post style) which depend on that brand/model of the fork. Or if you where to run an 8" disc. Adapters for mounting style or disc size are pretty cheap though ($15ish) and they are a common thing that any shop should have or could order.

Back on topic.

Dan, I have a 2002 Psylo SL 80-125mm U-Turn, disc only, w/ lock-out. It has new seals, but likely needs new o-rings in the PURE leg, as it very slowly weeps oil. Over time, if enough oil weeps, the lock quits working (cuz its a hydraulic lock out), it's not broke, you just have to re-bleed the PURE system and top it up for the lock out to work. Other than that is a decent fork, kinda soft for me w/ the stock medium spring. I'd be willing to part with it for fairly cheap (~$100). Let me know if this interests you.

Kosk- How stiff is this fork? I was planning on running an 8" Avid mech disc up front, do you think the Psylo will handle that well? Also, what spring is in it now? Are the new seals RS ones, or Enduro's?

Thanks,
Dan

- Not very (compared to my Z150)
- Seals are Enduros (gray ones)
- I believe the current spring is the stock medium (RED 140-160 lb) spring
- I wouldn't recommend running an 8" rotor on this fork as it does not have a 20mm TA. That'd be alot of torsional force induced around the center (head tube) axis of the fork, putting extra strain on the crown at the stanchion ends. That said I'm running a 7" rotor on it currently!!

If you are looking to run an 8" rotor, and plan to ride in such a way to warrant the use of one, then run the other way. I'd suggest narrowing your search to forks w/ 20mm TAs if you want to run and 8". If you can get by with a 7" or 6", then that'll open up more options for you (stock QR).

Thanks for the info. I was afraid the 8" would be a bit overkill. I'm happy to go to a 6", I have the 8 on my planet x rigid fork, and it's a bit nervy to use!

Is the Psylo pretty light?

It's an '02, grey lowers/polished crown & arch, QR, ECC cartride (its a rebound lockout to hold fork in lower position for climbing, I never used it) rebuilt every year, I have the flush bolts for the brake studs too. Its kinda heavy but super smooth. PM if interested.

I have an excellent condition 1 year old Fox Vanilla 125RLC that I'm looking to get rid of. It comes with all the available springs so you can tune it to your likings. It will also have new Enduroseals and new fork oil in it before it leaves my hands. Just ask and I can set the travel for 3, 4, or 5 inches and/or put whichever spring in you'd like.

I'm looking to get $360 out of it. It has external rebound, compression, and lockout w/ a blowoff threshold.
