None of this is mine but Craigslist.com (http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/bik/) has some okay stuff on it if you watch it.

Stuff I noticed.

Raleigh M-20 18" frame and crank and two tires - $20 - http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/bik/135780684.html

Not a MTB but sweet. Classic Pk ripper for sale - $550

02 Gary Fisher Sugar 2+ Mountain Bike, tuned and ready to ride! - $950

Just make sure the stuff's not stolen.

I will always ask for serial numbers, that usually will scare the crooks away.

That's a good idea. I was wondering what the best way to handle this.

The GF Sugar 2+ is my buddy's bike that I listed here on MORC a few months ago(same pic even). Looks like he is finally listing it himself. It's a decent ride and he's a good guy.

You want to read some funny stuff read the personals, or equivalent, on craigslist. Some of them even make me blush....:D

There are also some guys who post all the time, you can tell they just like fixing old Schwinns and selling them. :) I have a nice World Sport that I got for $20 and the guy gave me another set of cranks and wheels. Nice stuff to build up in the "off-season"

I bought an old columbia cruiser on craigslist last year that seemed to crappy to be "hot" but I've been looking for a bike for a freind of mine. There was a Surly a couple weeks ago that sounded too good to be true. Alas it was.

The guy who has the GF Sugar 2+ listed on Craigslist also has almost the same bike in a Med. size. I talked to him last night and he said that he is willing to sell that one also. Just thought I'd let you know. Cheers!
