As trail stewards, we are always grateful for another set of helping hands to keep the trails in great condition, and to build and open more trails. Here's the scoop for those of you that are interested in giving back to the sport.

Due to a tour by Mpls Parks and then 3 Rivers (Hennepin) Parks, we need to do a "cleanup walk" at a minimum to ensure that the trails are presentable for our invited guests. McLeods and Loppers should be all we need. (tools provided by MORC - bring your own gloves etc.)
Tuesday, APril 1 - 5:00pm - Lebanon Trail Work Begins!!
Look for more information on upcoming trail-work days at Lebanon and other parks. From what I understand we plan to hit it big at Lebanon this spring so we can start work at other locations. Maintenance and other work at Lebanon will continue through the year, but may be moved to Wed instead of Tuesdays.
More info on that to come. For now, if you can make it, trail work starts tomorrow...
(this doesn't necessarily mean the park is open for riding yet though)

I was wondering all winter long if the day would ever come when we would be able to work on the trails again. What is really great is that we have a trail system at Lebanon Hills that we can "show off" to others and use the experience there to help convince them we can do this in their parks as well.

Reminder of Lebanon trail work today starting at 5pm - JCRR parking lot. We will be walking the new xx loop clearing off brush and getting it ready for the final push to complete this excellent new trail this spring.
Should be a rather short trail building session - a great way to show up and get to know people (if you are new) or get "warmed up" for a new trail building year.
There are a TON of trail projects coming up this year, so MORC really needs your help! Bring your friends, your significant others, or just yourself and a pair of gloves.
Rest assured we're the type of group that welcomes any kind of help we can get! Would be great to meet some of the people who have been on the message boards as well.
Hope to see you there! If you can make it, feel free to contact me so I know to look for you... or, just show up.

I have set up an email list for those of you who are interested in staying informed about Lebanon Trail work.
Please be assured this information is not shared with anyone and will only be used to send out notifications of changes in schedules, or special announcements regarding trail work - such as meeting at a different location, time, or other misc happenings. You will NOT get bombarded with emails from this list, I promise!
This is the first list of this type I have set up, so please be patient as I work the bugs out. Some of you may have already received a welcome message. In that message there are instructions on removing or modifying your address. It is very simple, and should provide us with an excellent way to help keep people informed along with the forums.
