I just noticed that the proposed Northstar Commuter Line stop in Elk River is less then a mile away from hillside. That will make it mighty convenient for us Minneapolitans. Have to wait a while though, I think they are shooting for 2009 to open.

Yes, the line would run just down the road about 1 mile, right next to Hwy. 10. The park-and-drive is already there for the station. That would be great for me too, I could hop on to go downtown. From what I've heard there are still things that need to be worked out. That track is still a major railway for normal trains. We'll see, will be nice.
