View Full Version : Leb Wed. Night Snowshoe/Ski Dec. 21 @ 7pm

Don't know if there would be any interest, but I thought we might try a night walk/ski of the trail.... bring your shoes, snowshoes, skis, whatever! You probably don't even need lights - enough people will most likely have them. (or bring a flashlight.. we'll be going slow)

Thought Wed. might work due to people possibly leaving town around the usual Thursday timeframe.

Maybe we can help pack the trail down so it can be ridden...

If it happens that we can ride by then as well then we can do that too.

I'll try but tentitive at this point. The house queen gave a clear message to fam of hectic week cause we're holiday hosting.

I do have all day Friday free, I'll be at theo or leb no doubt.

Could have done Thursday. MOCA meeting is Wednesday. Sorry, maybe next time.

If this is still on I'll show otherwise I'll night ride near my house. After what I saw today at Theo, Leb may be ride-able! I know the easy loop will be ride-able. Perhaps we combo, ride to expert then snowshoe pack expert loop and ride out.

I say we ride! Those that want to ski or shoe can do so as well....

I'll bring the shoes in case we have issues and we can switch.

I haven't decided on biking or shoeing yet... will probably bring both.

I'm still in. I'm bringin both, but biking is probally a no go. Either way we'll go slow no doubt. Should be fun. Hope others can show.

It feels so good to get out and be active! Prior to Saturday I went two weeks without exercise. I was beginning to think shopping for a red suit and hat was a good idea.

My truck is loaded. If it gets bagged let me know and I'll start earlier or go near my house.

I am coming out to snowshoe no matter what. Hopefully you guys will ditch the bike idea and join me!

Was a good time last night. Four of us snowshoed almost the whole trail in hopes to flatten it out before the brief thaw so we can get back to riding and put the silly winter gear away again for a while ;)

Thanks guys (and Liz) for a good hike!

I need different boots though, nice blister on my heel...
