What up guys?

Just talked to some of my peeps up in D-town today, the new manager up at Spirit is all about making it a destination. So I'm curious how many people that come to this website are from the Duluth area. I know there are a few on here, let's post up maybe some organization up there will help get things rolling in the right direction a little better.

Well Bucky, you know I'm always down for that shizzle, even though I'm not up there. I'll help with whateva is needed. It'd be great to have multiple options up there.

Headin' up this weekend to exercise the season pass, time for the p-tex season, woot!

I'm looking to restart my trail building plans there this summer. I got shut down along with everyone else when the new manager came in, but I have presented to the committee that runs the place, they know what I am doing. The new manager is really about making it a summer destination. So it is the perfect op to re pitch my ideas to put some FR trails on Spirit Mtn to compliment the DH trail. I need/want more locals involved. I can get the permission, but I can't build and maintain a number of trails on my own. Pete, thor, myself, Jeff and a couple other guys built the new DH trail up there. I want to aad to that, so do a couple of locals but we need the local closet riders to step up to the plate and help out on the ground!

Thanks

I'm on the East side of town, so rode Hawk's Ridge to the Lester Park trails most of the summer, with an occassional trip up to Hartley. I was riding a hardtail Stumpy for '05. My Ebay Epic arrived when it was 2 deg, so it is sitting.

I'm planning on expanding my riding a lot in '06 and will be checking out Spirit.
