i took my dog for a bike ride today and i usually can keep up w/her when she runs....but she was sooo excited about the snow she ran faster than i have ever seen her run. i was going as hard as i could on my bike and couldnt keep up w/her. And her sled dog instincts came out(part husky) because she kept trying to get in front of the bike and lead. Just over a mile and i was practically dying when we got home. i just crashed on the floor.:sick:lol

Sled dog? Wait till it cools down and she can really go!! They're like polar bears. They aren't even ready to go until it's 20 degrees out. You should try skijourning. My buddy does that and his dog loves it. He gets to run as fast as he wants without worrying about getting more than 15 feet from him.

I'm hoping to get a kicksled soon (small 15 Ib. sled). But I may have to get a skijour setup in the meantime now that the dog's old enough to pull. First I need to teach him to pull, though...

idk if she could handle that...i said her instincts kicked in...she wasnt pullin me very much though. She was tryin to guide where i go. She is only 45 lbs and is full grown, but hey, i might still try it
