I'm not the regular organizer of this event... so I'm just askin' is all...

I had a BLAST last week and want to make this a regular as often as I can.

For those who haven't ridden Salem, its one very cool place. I love the berm most of all I think!!

The ride is on for Tuesday night, Please note the change in start time.

We will stop back at the parking lot after our first trip around the north loop to pick up any stanglers.

I will be bringing a couple of gallons of Mulled Apple Jack to warm us up after the ride.

Hope to see you all there.

James

I just picked up my 2 gallons of fresh squeezed, organic apple cider for mulling tomorrow before the ride.

Hope a lot of people come out or I will have to take the cider into work tomorrow for the whole planty end of business potluck...

See everyone out there.

I'm in.

Just rebuilt the bike so hopefully it will all work after getting the clay out of the inner bearings...

I'm gonna try and make it, but is there anyone who would be willing to show me how to adjust things on the bike. Unfortunatly I don't know the terminology and even less on what to do besides take it to the shop, but I don't think it's hard to adjust. The rear gears when in the higher gears going up hill slip and change on me. Just started happening at the night ride at Leb last thursday and I forgot I needed to figure it out till now, Anyone able to give me a quick hand?

Like I said, I'll be there tonight but not sure if I'll make it by 6:30 or not. May be catching everyone on the next lap through.

Chris - I'm sure someone can give you a hand.

See ya tonight.

Chris, if I get there early enough, I can look at it for you. I drive the Blue Dodge Dakota and don't know what bike I'm riding. I think I talked to you at Leb. on this little matter.

I may have fixed it, looked at it at lunch, maybe have someone look at it to be sure, but alls I did was turn a cable to get derailer to line up better, so hopefully. I leave work at 6:00 and may be pushing it to make 6:30 but will try

Can't wait for tonight... should be good weather, although maybe a bit windy. Gotta love this 50+ degree weather in Nov!

4 laps tonight, right?

Sounds about right.

I plan to get footage of everyone railing the inslope at full speed on the first lap around. I also want to get some spotlight type stuff in a few places and some footage of the line of riders out in the amphitheatre. I promise it will only hold up the first lap for a few minutes each time and then we can hammer for the last 3!!!

or those who want to hammer can and the rest of use can have a nice relaxing ride.

There seems to be a little Martha Steward in some of us. And let me say, I don't mind a bit!!! Thanks for the excellent food, beverage and belly-aching laughs!!!

Yeah, that bunny took it out on Johns tire right before it's demise though.

Great ride last night everyone! It was great meeting new people again and running into others I've met at other trails.

I still have cotton mouth from laughing so much last night. JL wait till PETA gets a hold of you. Have a good Leb. ride on Thursday for those riding. See ya next week at Salem.

P.S. Thanks for the treats James, Troy and Roger.

All I know is that the bunny wasn't there when I went by on the first lap.

It'll be interesting when the imprint is examined. We'll be really suspicious of anyone who changes their front tire in the next couple days. If it were me, I'd fake a flat as an excuse to destroy the evidence.

Maybe it was a "vicious rabbit with large poiny teeth" like the one in Monty Python and the Holy Grail that did in John's tire.

The treats were awesome!!

Thanks guys for being patient with my tire situation... and for such a cool fix. Can you believe its still holding air! ;)

I hope I can get the bike ready for Thursday...

Oh, I can believe your tire is still holding air. After all, tubes are proven technology.

It was a great ride last night. My sides got sore from laughing so much when we were fixing John's tire (and making perverted comments about filling it).

Mild temps, dry trails, large group, lights, riding, treats, and entertainment.
What a fun packed evening.
Great ride. Thanks everyone.

I had a great time riding, I better be careful... I might become a regular:crazy2: . By the way how many miles is Salem total, i tried to look it up on the trial information page but it appears that needs some work yet.

Don't know if I'd trust those tubes... Better rebuild the bike.

We may have a night ride newbie on the trails tomorrow night at Leb. any one have some additional loaner lights?

That is exactly why I don't come ride with you guys! You guys are bad.

I usually have a complete loaner set, but I sold it. I still have one loaner homebrew handlebar light, but it is already loaned out for tomorrow. Sorry.

I had nothing to do with it... honest! :)

BTW: everyone will be happy to know that I have replaced my front tubeless tire. I just didn't trust that new fangled tube thing... although it still was holding its air after work today after work. Amazing. hehe.

The new one (Different brand) went on in under 20 seconds, but the old was was stuck on the rim so bad like last night I ended up just cutting it off. I saved that cool tube thing though just in case I need it again someday...
