I am working to get our trail conditions page up and operational. It is almost ready!
I just need to get some input on the "general conditions" that would best describe a trail.
Currently I have:
Closed
Wet
Damp
Sticky
Dry
I started describing each one and realized that sticky and damp could possibly be the same thing, or maybe not the best words to use?
Wet - obviously a no-ride condition
Damp - some word that describes a trail that could be ridden, but may have muddy spots in low lying or other areas.
Sticky - I threw this in initially - when we first build the bypass at Lebanon we had a condition where most of the trails were fairly dry, but this trail was actually sticky. It had the very top layer that was near muddy conditions but it was solid underneith. This might confuse people though.. can you think of a better term than sticky? Or does it make sense? Is damp "wetter" than sticky?
Hmmm...
Currently I have to stick to 5 total conditions. Closed, Wet and Dry seem to work. The other 2 are up for debate.
Ideas???
