That's one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen... not so much the motor, but the bike itself.

And it only looks slightly top heavy.

I was really trying to find an application that that setup would be beneficial, like on a downhill rig but the motor weight would flip ya over backwards going up the hill. So I think the only ideal buyer would be a ham radio geek with a suspended driver’s license.

For 1300 bucks I'd be buying a used motocross bike.

Bingo!! Why put a motor on an Off-Road bicycle.....or any bicycle for that matter?? There is this invention called a motorcycle. Last I recall, it was invented quite awhile ago.

for $1300. For example:

A lifetime supply of Skittles
A real bike
A Honda Spree, "50" or MX bike
A small Laotian man with large, strong, smooth hands
The opportunities are endless.

You got to at least give the guy credit for tinkering around with that.

Is it worth 1300? No freaking way
Could you homebrew this for less than 1300? You better beleive it.
Is it ideal for off-road use? If I see you on the trails with it I will slap you

I got to hand it to the guy for the design and fabrication that that has......my hat is off to him though

You all seem to think that the motor comes with the bike for $1300. It clearly states that the auction is for the bicycle only and the the motor kit is sold seperatly. $1300 for that piece of s***?! Looks to me like this guy is trying to pull a fast one.

What happens if you hit a big log and do an endo on this? I bet it would spill gasoline all over the forest. One stray spark, and the next thing you know, the trail is burned to a crisp. Or, worse yet, the rider would be burned to a crisp.

The only thing I could think of that's worse than this is a bike with an attached motor AND an attached heater/air conditioner system. Just in case your bike ride isn't car-like enough.
