The weather is looking iffy for Saturday, but if the forecast looks better by Friday, I'd be interested. I've never ridden Levis.

Saturday Levis.
I whooped up the Saturday Levis thought tonight at the well-attended Leb ride. There were a lot of maybes.
For anyone interested, we are thinking of leaving town about 8am on Saturday, and being back around 9pm. If you are interested, post up.
Someone also suggested that we should check on the hunting situation. So, does anyone know if this weekend is hunting at Levis?

My wonderful spouse has given the thumbs up for an out of town trip on Saturday:banana: so I am probably in!
Can anybody make sense of this? Hunting info:

My understanding of the WI firearm hunting season is that there are two separate seasons (regular firearm and the "T-Zone" firearm), but it is some what geographically driven. Either way, from the site posted it looks as if all firearm seasons are closed until Nov 19, but Bow hunting is definately open, but I think Levis is open during bow season.

The only hunting in that area right now is Bow hunting and small game hunting. You all should be safe. You will hear gun shots from the small game hunters, nothing to worry about. Have a good ride all and be safe.

The weather sounds okay for now. From weather.com for Saturday at BRF:
Considerable cloudiness. Slight chance of a rain shower. High 54F. Winds light and variable. If the forecast gets worse, we'll bail.
So far, it is me, Joel and Jeff.
I can fit 3 bikes in my van. If we do this, it makes the most sense to meet at my house in Eagan. Jeff lives fairly close to me. (Note: If someone else wants to drive, we will meet at his house)
Here's a tentitive schedule:
Breakfast on your own.
Meet 8am at my house, pack and go.
Drive to BRF. Get there around 10:30.
Ride
Lunch and re-stock back at the trail head.
Ride some more
Head for home
Dinner on the way home
Back around 9pm
Like to head out to Levis, but do not have transportation in the morning. Any chance of a quick stop in Burnsville?

Jeff is coming from Burnsville. Where in Burnsville?
I'm also not positive I can fit 4 bikes + 4 bodies in the van. Maybe, though, if we scoot the back seat forward and take the front wheels off. I'll have to take a look before committing to it.
Or, if anyone has a trailer hitch rack, then it will be a no-brainer.

Fine with me. What kind of vehicle do you have? Can it fit 3 peeps plus 3 bikes?
Also, it is looking like the sky could open up with snow or rain at any time. Could be soggy by tomorrow. Jeff, Joel, what are your opinions?

I'm thinking might be a crapshoot as far as weather - hate to drive that far for a wet ride. http://www.intellicast.com/WeatherImg/Radar/stc.gif
