It was pretty lame, the guy is not a comedian (big surprise!) but he did not embarrass the cycling community as a whole.

Yes. Actually the best skit was Lance singing a song that he allegedly wrote for Crowe, kind of like the Cheers episode when Woody Harrelson sings the "Kelly" song, except Harrelson is a much better singer.
