If I'm not mistaken, Pancore Lake should not be in the central MN trail section. It's halfway up the north shore...
That said, the Pancore Lake loop is a pretty rugged doubletrack loop that was challenging to drive in my truck, and would be a lot of fun to ride, if you're into adventuring, and not intent on singletrack.

Johnny boy, what have you done to my trail?!?!? You moved it from the Superior National Forest to Central Minnesota? Ye gahds, lad. Have thou no couth?:D
Pancore Lake Loop is, as our esteemed Mr. Burke noted, up north. Since I maintain it, I wish it were closer, but it's not.
There are Pancore pages on BIKEMN.com. MinnesotaMTB.com and Trailpatrol.org. They will all point you the right direction.
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"
Boy, I really need to get more sleep. "Say goodnight, Gracie."
Goodnight, Gracie

Dang.. this is getting to be a lot more work than I originally thought! ;)
It is easy for me to mess up northern MN since I grew up in the NW corner, not the superior area.. (thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it hehe)
Ok - it has been moved.. I don't know how that happened, but if you saw the admin for this software you'd probably know - it gets really messy in the forum creation view.
Anyway.. my apologies to those who love Pancore. It has found its correct home now.
