These are the kinds of people who will be there. You
know which one you are.
Corporate slaves. Media whores. Small business owners
who are poorer than the part time janitor at White
Castle. Construction skirvs. Aimlessly wandering
wonders. People who are still in school and will never
quit going because the job that will feed them AND pay
thier student loans at this point doesn't exist so
they are on permenant deferment via indefinate
enrollment. You can just call them too smart for any
good. People who just finished college and have
decided after entering the real world and the job
market that they don't want the dream job after all.
They just want thier mommy. Lousy bartenders, wait
staff and cooks. People who are unable to effectively
explain what they do without getting blank stares or
causing folks to wander off to another room. Computer
nerds. People how make things. People who fix the
things other people made and people who help or fix
people that hurt themselves either trying to use or
fix the things the other people made without proper
training or reckless and improper use. People who
don't eat aminals, people who have animals and people
who eat animals but not thier own. People who find
stuff and people who sell stuff and people who collect
money from other people for telling them about people
who can do any of the stuff above for them. People who
do one of the things above and wish they were people
doing a different thing listed above.
Point is everyone is invited. This is Uptown and there
aren't any parties around here where everyone is the
same. It's also not a tea party. We don't play board
games and eat truffles. This is beer and chips (your
own liqour) and loud music and last time I was at a
party at this house the living room was a packed-a$$
dance floor at midnight. There will be neighbors and
people who are party surfing up and down the blocks of
Uptown. The house is about a block from Chipolte and
the Uptown diner on 26th on the east side of hennepin.
The uptown diner is also now open 24 hours from
Thursday - Sunday now so you can get some good food
after the party or just step over and come back.
If you're wondering which party you want to go to this
is the one. Pass it on. You have permission.
Lord knows I'm much better with chaos than a party
that feels like a swirlie. I'd much rather see fire
trucks and riot tape than be in a room with a full
barrel and two drunks spilling beer all over
themsleves and high fiving misty mountain hop and
going back and forth with thier extensive knowledge of
classic rock. (no dis to classic rock though just lame
parties)
Also..very important...
If you get this email and your a trouble maker or a
crackhead. Don't come. We don't want you at our party.
I will be in my superhero costume and I will help you
leave.
