I've played the guitar about 6 years. I can keep a good beat on drums, I can do a little something something on the bass, and I used to paly the alto sax.

As far as music, I like...

Allman brothers
black crowes
B.B. kigs stuff
Clapton
Beck

and so on

a crappy starter kit from Sam Ash...a groove percussion. but for the price its not too bad....sound ok if its tuned right. Zildjian cymbals w/a crappy non-zildjian ride. Ahead sticks.

I just reversed the letters. A pink floyd cover is Aussie pink floyd i went to thar concert and they sounded exactly the same. They even got approved by roger waters.

Let's see I play Keyboard/Piano, Guitar(I suck at this one), Traditional Flutes (not concert flute), sing a lot, and oh yeah I have this recording studio thingie in my basement too. I do a lot of engineering and small project recording.

As for what music I listen to? Uh.... Lots. Techno, metal, hard rock (formerly known as alternative), orchestral/classical, new age (yeah, you heard me), and much much more. I've been in Techno/New Age (Yeah, it is a strange mix) and Nu Metal/Hard Rock bands. Yeah, am I cool yet? Darn.

Why, are we gonna try to start a MORC band?

Good names for a MORC band:
"The Chainring Rockers"
"Spandex Suicide"
"Death by Singletrack" (this would make a good album/song title too)
"Endo"
"Bent Frame Frag"
"Spoke Shredder"
"Trail Fairy"
"Log Drop" (Think about what a non-rider things of this name).

Ok, I'm done.

uhhh - my studio is primarily computer based (MOTU 1224 &MOTU MTPII) and EMAGIC-Logic) but I have a 24x8x2 mackie mixer, about 6 keyboards, a dozen or so rack/table synthesizers, active speakers of some sort (I forget the brand), an old ADAT blackface, a dbx 376 channel strip, an akg c3000 mic, patch bays, cables beyond your wildest dreams, oh yeah, and a 13'x15' dead-room, which probably won't last much longer. I've got more stuff but that's the stuff I use the most, the rest just gathers dust.

If any of that stuff made any sense to you, congratulations: you're a sound dweeb like me!.

Reason is fairly similar to Logic, but there's one key difference. They're all a bunch of apps which are trying to keep up with Pro Tools. Logic is music a authoring program with some music production capability. Pro Tools (and I believe Reason falls into this category) is a music production program with a little bit of authoring capability. Since I do almost all of my writing in the computer, something like Logic makes more sense to me.

If you're ever heading out to Leb and check out my setup drop me a PM or something - I live like 2 miles from leb.

I think I had some bikes with Logic tubing before. Should I be looking for one's with Reason tubing now? ;)
