I'll be there.

Let's make it 7pm so that we have time before to walk in and take care of the tree in the X entrance. According to Buck's post, the wind must have dropped it some more.

For me it might be more like 6:30 pm vs 6:00.

Though I really enjoyed the ride last night, and would love to be able to make it tomorrow, my wrist has other ideas.

As long as do not try to bend it in any way it is fine, most movement is very uncomfortable and some directions it is almost unbareable.

Gonna be doing the ice, heat and rest thing for a while I think.

Full Suspension.

And no more playing with rocks.

Ted, you gonna bring your portable heater for after-ride warmth?

That's two words, but who's counting? :eyeroll:

The tank is empty. Besides, it won't even be below freezing. Maybe if I have time tomorrow, I will fill the tank and bring it along. I am more worried about getting my lights in order.

How hard is it to ride ninja style? I have no lights but this sounds like fun!

trust me dude, i ride slow. especially on my beast. these guys ride pretty fast but a slow ride once in a while is good. especially if you have ideas for the trails.

Buck, If you want to borrow a set of lights, I'll run home and throw them on a charger during lunch.

I would not recommend riding without lights, unless you are just trying to get out of the woods.

aaaah, damn, I think I am going to hit Mammoth with Devon and his crew, never met them and I have only ridden Mammoth once. Devon, I'll try and be there by 5 but 5:30 is probably more realistic, I'll be comin' from work in St. Paul.

Next time Bob, I'll come on the next night ride!

I plan on making it down too. Sounds like a decent size group coming, so you'll need an extra sweeper...
See you there!

Trail repair at 5:30, ride at 7:00

If anyone gets the urge to help with some minor trail work, Ted and I are going to meet at 5:30, then hike up and check out the hanging tree on the entrance to X. Assuming it is fairly low, we will cut it out.

With your help, we might be able to avoid having Ted's Log II -- The Sequel :fool:

Sorry, I'm going to have to bail tonight. A college friend is in town from Milwaukee and I haven't seen him in 3 or 4 years. Maybe next time!

Thanks for the great ride. Makes me wish I had come out for one earlier in the season. I'll have to get a new battery though. While an interesting challenge, it would be better not to need someone to ride right behind me with a light.

Excellent ride. I think we had 13 people.

Miscellaneous crashes by about half of the riders, but no injuries. My lights survived another nice endo.

Next thursday, conditions permitting. Maybe we should step it up to 6:30 for the rest of the season?

My personal chances of being able to ride increase with how late into the evening it starts, but my chances are never that good on Thursdays anyway. At least until daylight savings, then the lack of Wednesday trailwork :cryin: makes it easier for me to leave early on a Thursday.
