Anyone have a Karate Monkey they'd be willing to let me stand over and maybe ride around the block? I want to get an idea of what size would fit me. I go 6'3" and have a 34" pants inseam. I'm guessing the 22" is going to be too tall, but it looks like the 20" isn't that much shorter...

I'll come to you to make it as convenient as possible.

Hey Joel,

I have a 22" KM, and plan to bring it to Salem Hills tonight. You are welcome to stop by and take it for a spin. We are doing trail work at 6pm, then will go for a ride at 7pm.

There is a pretty big difference between the 22" and the 20". I'm 6' 4" (32" inseam, so torso man) and the 22" feels too big, but the 20" feels just right. There is somebody around here with a 20", but I'll let him speak up if he wants.

Thanks for the offer, Bob. I'll try to be there right at 6. Sorry can't stay for trail work. Tonight should be a great night for riding w/o lights. I turned mine off this morning and rode by moonlight - best commute of the year!

Yeah, you can ride bike. I think the 22" is too tall even for tall guys due to the squarish frame geometry resulting in wikid high standover.

I'm 5'15" with 34pant/36bike inseam. I love the KM. OZ was here recently and rode it fine - he's 6'4"-6'5" with longer legs and just lifted the saddle up a skosh. Rode it fine. He has a 22" back home.

I'd let Pat ride it but he doesn't ride (with us, at least) anymore
