View Full Version : Small trailwork session Tuesday 5:00pm

Hey all,

We have alittle rock work to do at the ends of some of the new boardwalks that were installed last week.

I have already located all of the rocks and they are within 50 feet of one section of boardwalk and 100 yards of another.

I will have a Wheelbarrow at the session to help hall them around and the work should only take a short bit of time.

Once this is done, I plan to slide the pulaski into the backpack along with a saw and do a loop of the whoel trail system just to check some things out. I know there is a small tree down that needs to be cut and I want to rework the small rock section on the west side sumac area.

Eveyone is welcome to jopin me and maybe even conclude the evening with a couple of laps with (or without seeing as it will be 2 days after a full moon) under the stars.

Let me know who all might be able to show so I can have enough stuff for everyone.

Would like to James but I've got puppy class on tuesday evening.

Kerry and I rode the trail on Saturday. The bridge sections are awesome!

I rode the trail tonight. The new boardwalk is Sweet!

If we are working on bridge entrances/exits, we should also do something in the place where we put the extra 2 sections. That part doesn't have an entrance ramp, so it it is currently tougher to get onto than the long bridge.

Like the post said. Trailwork starting about 5:00 or so, riding when we finish. should not take to long.

It's looking good for me being there tonight, but I probably can't get there until around 5:30~6pm. I'll also bring my bike (and shorts) for a 7pm ride.


Does anyone have a wheelbarrow that they can bring?

Ok lets make the trailwork start about 6:00pm since that seems like when everyone can get there.

I will be bringing a wheelbarrow.

I'm gonna try and make 7pm ride time (work till 6 in roseville, bike in Apple Valley, gonna need gas after tonight....) hoping to get by without a light hopefully it's not cloudy.
