FYI, Terrace closes officially on the 15th of this October, so this Saturday is it. Please stay off the trails while they are closed. There may still be some work this year Ill post up as things come up.

Does that mean Sat is the last day to ride?
Normally you would say a "closing" date is the first day you cannot use it.
Why not postpone and let the weather determine when to close?

Saturday it will be closed, when they put up the gate is when they get to it, so you can get a morning ride in im sure. City of Burnsville determines the closure date not MORC, this is something I can bring up though and possibly get changed in the future. As it stands this is later than previous years.

I was planning on one more TO ride this year.
So take a half day today or get up early in the morning???

Got a couple of loops in Saturday before hitting the River Bottom. One nice little trail. :p

Why is this trail closed?
I went there after I realized I could get shot at Lebs during lunch yesterday, only to get turned away from this trail too!

That sucks. I've done that before as well. Learned my lesson. I've never understood why they close it so early. :confused: The city obviously doesn't care about mt. bikers. I know people ride it anyways, but I've heard if you get caught you can be fined. Such a fun trail and it would be great to ride in the fall. It's a damn shame.:etard:

The Burnsville Parks dept sets the close dates for their parks. Thus the closing for Terrace from riding on October 15th. Getting the date moved to a later time in the year is something I am proposing to them. Part of this however is the lack of riders using the park the last few years since Leb got so big. They see the numbers dwindle and that makes it hard to push for a later date if nobody is using it like they used to. Sooooo next season everyone come and ride Terrace a lot more, populate it and we will have more pull!

Noo!! It is so nice having TO all to myself when you are all at Leb! Just kidding, it really should be ridden more often. Any more trailwork for TO this year?

Trailwork is done for this year. I am preparing the plan for 06' to give to the parks folks though, it will include firm deadlines and material needs, so be ready for a big season.
