Ok,
To get this up in its own thread.
A number of us are trying to see how many people we would have interested in Halloween Ride on Saturday Oct 29th?
Costumes, Bike Theme Carved Pumpkin Contest, etc.
Location has yet to be determined but as Leb is the only legal place to drink after riding, it might be the location of choice. River Bottoms is my normal Halloween ride, and Salem is also a fun place to do it.
Homey Fall Fest is on the 30th so that is why Saturday is the chosen date.
Anyone want to help with the planning and such?
Come on people, help a guy out.
James
Love to help ya out, and it sounds like a ton of fun but just be getting back from CO with (hopefully) a freezer full of Elk. Probably be back pretty late on Saturday.
Might be able to make the Homey this year though!
A friend is throwing her annual Halloween party that night and I would get yelled at a lot if I didn't show. Hopefully things will sort themselves out so I can multi - task.
James, if the timing works I'd be happy to help with anything you need.
Troy, I hope you have a serious run of elk - lessness. ;)

I'll go in as a maybe: tentative, possible other plans (which I expect to vanish). Anyone have a spare light or set of lights I could borrow for the eve?

Yeah, I expected that weekend to be a tough sell trying to fit something in, but what are you going to do.....
I am not going to miss Homey, I don't want to exclude the parents out there by having it on Monday. I could try and have it on Friday evening, and if that does work better for people maybe that is what will happen, but for right now Satuday is the current option.
Maybe start about about 4-5 have people bring snack food and judge the costumes that people wear, head out on a ride when the sun starts to set and have the pumpkin contest after the ride and during the refreshments.
To bad we can't have a bonfire legally at any of the trails around here.
I'll hold you to that help, as I am sure I will let something fall throught he cracks. Thanks
James

This sounds like fun. I hope everything somehow works out. Now it's just finding a cool costume.......that's probably the toughest part.
