I rode BC on Saturday and had a somewhat hard time finding the single track.

We parked at the rec center off of Winthrop. We first took off toward the North on double track and found a small single track which had us end up on Battle Creek road. We did find a pretty rough (under construction?) single track on the South area.

We did not go West of Battle Creek road, the sign seemed to exclude mbers. Is that correct?

It seems like mostly double track with perhaps 1-2 miles of single. Is that right or did I not find other single track trails?

This park has some great hills for a good work out. I'll probably come back here alone from endurance serious training for Afton/Giants Ridge.

Sounds like you missed most of the trail - its definitely a little confusing. A lot of the good stuff is across Battle Creek Road. You exit the east loop onto the road, and pick up the trail a little to the north, maybe 20 yards north, you ride around a chain across the trail entrance and you are back in business. You should arrange to ride with somebody to see all the singletrack.

Yup sounds like you missed quite a bit as the others have noted.

Anyone up for a 5 or 5:30pm ride on thursday 10/13?

If the weather is good I'd like to get out there again. I'll probably take some notes on what needs to be worked on as well.

That'd be great! I'm going to plan on being in the Winthrop lot by about 5. Head out for a short loop at about 5:10 and maybe check back at the lot around 5:30 or so. I'll maybe start a thread in the group ride section.

No Scott, you had it right. The other Troy is the fast one, not this Troy. Plus with you on my wheel (the place you like to ride when behind people) you make me feel like I'm holding you up. So I just try to go faster. We'll all be in fine shape. I was just at Levis for the weekend and my legs are a bit sore from all the riding. We did a killer night loop out their and had a blast. See you guys later this week.

I will be there I love that trail and might know some of the section that are very seldom riden.
