Made it out to steeple chase today for some trail work.

Intermediate loop looks butter fast and fun as hell, only 100m or so left, today we cut a ton of new trail. Small but awesome work crew, put in a good 4hr session of work, XCers were seen all through out the day riding, DH is in great shape! everything has ridden in nicely, next time I am home I plan to rake it top to bottom and fix a couple spots that didn't ride in the way I was thinking. We also scoped out some "B" lines that will be off the intermediate trail. Like a 4' drop and some other cool things like that!!! The area has me thinking some really cool ideas so much elevation change so quickly!

Huge props to the guys out there, it is going to be an awesome place to cruise of an afternoon!!! The hope is to get the intermediate trail open before the snow flies! head on down for a morning of building followed by an afternoon of riding!!!

Steeplechase is coming along nicely. If your from southern mn you really should think about heading out there one saturday morning to help out. Everyone that helps gets to ride for free and its a great way to show your support to the owner of steeplechase since he has been awesome enough to let us build these kinds of trails on his property. Also the more help we get the sooner we can get started on the advanced sections and B lines. I have no doubt that once completed this will be the premier mountain bike park in the southern end of the state. For those not familiar it will include 2 beginner Cross country loops. One long intermediate loop and at least one long expert loop. There is also a downhill course already completed and plans for a dual slalom. So anyway the intermediate loop is already ridable and if you haven't made it out there yet you should plan the trip before the snow flies.

We will be working every Saturday until the Snow falls. We meet up by the chalet at about 8 30 in the morning. People arrive anytime between 8:30 and 10:30 depending on what schedules permit. There is a blue shed that has tools and a map showing the part of trail we will be working on.

Also we only work until about 12 30 or so depending on when we hit a good point to stop and I bring my bike every time so I can get a good bit of riding in.
