Winthrop parking lot? Where is that? I am only familiar with the parking lot off of Lower Afton Road.

The Winthrop lot is the one at the top. If you continue up the hill on lower afton road instead of turning L on Point Douglas to the lower parking lot, you'll pass by Battle creek Rd on your left, the next one on your left will be Winthrop. There is a community center and bunch of ball fields on the left (E) side of winthrop. This is the "Official" trailhead. I used to park in the lower lot all the time, untill my vehicle got broken into. The Winthrop lot is much safer.

I would like to ride Battle but I work until 5 and since I'm in Chaska it is a little difficult to get there with all the traffic. I will have to pass this time. If you ride on a weekend, that would be a little easier for me. Have a great ride Troy.

Understandable. I don't have a lot of time tonight so that's why I'm hitting it right away after work. I'll let ya know if I hit it on a weekend.

Hey Porter, I would be willing to go on a weekend with you. My wife started working later, and with the sun going down earlier, I rarely get a chance to go out on a week night.
