Hey... I rode this trail for the first time tonight. It's short, but I really liked it. The little "most difficult" loop is a lot of fun - the tight turn, steep climb, tight turn, and small drop combo was interesting.

Big thanks to whoever built the trial.

I rode TO for the first time recently - short but quality. a good mix of turns, speed, climbs, and some tricky downhills. I tried to do a fast lap and went over the handle bars twice. I like that in a trail.

Ouch.

I actually get a better workout at Terrace than at Leb or Theo. If you only have an hour to ride, it is a good option. If I can get in four laps and be back in the parking lot in under an hour, I feel like I've had a good ride and am pretty tired.

Thanks for the report.

The trail will only keep getting better as well. Glad ya liked it! If all goes well the "X" loop will contain some much better and sustainable features that will make it hard and fun at the same time.

The first time I did it I found it, I think. It was steep up, tight, and had a tight turn right before going down. Right?

But the last few times, I somehow went by it. Is it at the crossing where the big double track goes down the hill to the left?

Location to enter has not moved. When you get to the top of the singletrack uphill, you run right to the doubletrack, when the doubletrack turns left about 75 yards down on the left is the singletrack enterance to the "x" spot.

nice for TO to have more obstacles. It is a nice loop for me to ride to TO, then to Lebanon and home. Takes 2-3 hours. If TO had more single and/or another technical loop, I would go there more often.

That one little rock section always catches my by surprise.

Man, I don't remember the last time I went to Terrace! I should ride it again soon. I still remember when it was just about one of the very few miles of singletrack we had. :)

Last week, we did a night ride at Terrace. I was having a tough time on X section making the climb after the sharp left around the tree. My SS gearing was too high for me to climb the hill from the near-stop that you have to do going around the tree. When I finally cleaned it, I was hunkered down finishing the climb and WHAM! Whacked my helmet on the blown-over tree at the top of the climb. It nearly knocked me off of my bike. I completely forgot that it was there, and was looking down grunting at my pedals. Anyway, my helmet, light and head all survived. The tree is still resting on its perch, waiting for the next sucker that is not paying attention.

Me and a Friend from Omaha plan to ride TO and Leb Saturday Morning.

Join us if your interested. Afterwords we are heading down to the Autumn Brew Review to fill up on Barley Pop.
