At the summit this year we continued the tradition started last year and selected a volunteer of the year for 2005.
This year the winner is.....
..... drumroll please....
.....
BOB SHEPHERD! (a.k.a. bigwheel)
There are many many people that could have won this award this year... but Bob stood out for his efforts at multiple trails and his willingness to get involved and take care of our trails. Bob has helped out at Terrace Oaks and at Lebanon this year. He has also been seen wandering the trails out at Leb looking for fallen trees blocking the trail. Whenever I'm out there doing some maintenance it never fails... there's Bob willing to help out. He even stops in the middle of his rides to help out. There are many other great things I could say about Bob...
Congrats Bob, well deserved. That deserves 4!

And to the rest of our volunteers - thanks so much for all your efforts as well. Recognizing one individual is a special thing, but it does not mean that each one of you don't also make a huge difference for MORC and for our trails. You know who you are - pat yourselves on the back as well...
