Memorial Trail Oct. 2 ?????

Anyone interested in riding in RW the weekend of Oct. 1st? I will be down there for a wedding on saturday the 1st and plan on riding on sunday the 2nd. Shoot me a PM or post up if you are interested.:D

Since Bow Hunting Season has started, the best hours to ride on Memorial are between 10am and 2pm. Those are the hours that hunters are not allowed on the bluff. I will post up when I plan to ride.

I cant remember what time the wedding is. If I can ride saturday morning it will have to be right at 10am to avoid the hunters. Sunday looks like a better day to ride.

Wedding is at 2pm. Saturday. So there is a possibilty of riding beforehand, but its slim. Sunday 10am is going to be the best.

Yeah- we are still riding at 10am. If you drive to the top of Memorial, drive past the main overlook to the second overlook. It looks down on the Athletic Field. I'll be driving a black Honda with a roof rack and stickers all over the back window.

I'm hoping to make it as well. A lot depends on how late the wedding dance gets....

Looks like the weather will be perfect.... (knock on wood). If I'm up there I'll be on a blue 29er (with a maroon civic). I'm so out of shape from just biking on the "tamer" stuff at night for the past few weeks... looking forward to my slow arse singlespeed butt being kicked...

Thanks to Porter and his girlfriend and the others that I met and rode with for the first time at Memorial. The trails down their are a hoot. Thanks for showing me around. We'll have to get out again soon. The only downer of the day was that I need to buy two new tires. The front one has a torn sidewall and the rear has a cancer bubble on it. Glad I made the climbs before these little problems showed themselves. Again, great day for riding, great people to ride with and we'll have to hit it up again.:D

Anytime any of you guys are down here for another ride, let me know. I'd be glad to try and keep up again. Nice to meet some new faces (and get to ride with others that I've only met or built a bridge with - Porter and Alicia?). Fun riders, great weather = awesome ride.
