I'm not 100% sure, but going by the top tube length, it appears to be a small. I measured the TT at 21 3/4 inches, which is approx 551 millimeters.

See size chart for 2003 Epic here -> http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=5774&JServSessionIdroot=zax28j91sk.j27009&bikeTab=story (http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?spid=5774&JServSessionIdroot=zax28j91sk.j27009&bikeTab=story) (choose geometry link, but note that you should visit specialized.com first and choose your geo (which creates a session) or the link may not go to the correct page).

It turns out I measured the TT wrong. The bike is a Medium. Has an M sticker on the bottom end of the seat tube. Duh. :geek: It must be that I need to measure the TT from the front of the head tube (if that is what it is called) to the back of the seat tube.
