Afton- Fall Project(s)- What's next?

Starting this thread to see what improvements people would like to see at Afton. We'll be kicking off Fall projects in October and would like to know what people would like to see accomplished...
-Currently in the idea phase are improvements prior to and after the Bridge Loop...

More than likely we'll be doing the Thursday night trail work night and maybe throw in some Saturday move dirt and ride sessions in Oct/ Nov. If your interested in getting involved let Heckler35 (aka Magic) or myself know...

Can you eliminate the uphill climbs? =) Actually, some of the braking bumps/banking of the last downhill section after Manhandler and into the finish line could be worked out.

This is unrelated to the trail work sessions, but will the 24 course stay marked through the fall? It would be fun to ride it sometime (I wasn't able to make the race this year). It sounds like you guys have been up to some great work at Afton. Thanks for your efforts.

I'd like to see the DLA section to get cleaned up a little. That is a cool little section. I also agree with Travis...the breaking bumps are killers! Also, is it possible to bench cut some of the switchbacks before Shady Lane? :D

I talked to Troy and I will be attempting to change my work schedule at the bike shop so that I can help out on a couple of Thurs. Trail Work sessions. Saturdays are definitely a possibility too.:banana:

The 24hr race course is the new feature course. It will be set up all biking season from now on. Get out and ride it before the SNOW flies.
