So, I finally wrecked my aged Rock Shox Judy XC that has been converted to air, etc. over the years.
I am in the market for a new fork. The current model is an 80 mm and I assume I should stay close to this so I do not screw with geometry.
Does anyone have an opinion on the Manitou Black Super with the 90-120 mm adjustable travel? It is coil-sprung.

Eric,
Are the Englunds in the fork still good?
I would be interested if they are as my options for forks in the Klein are very limited.
Thanks
James

Manitou Minute 2:00. I have loved mine. 300 to 400 for an '05 (300 is for smu which is just a weird paint job, i have a silver one that is perfect)

James, I hope to have Mike Nendza at Erik's SLP look at it this afternoon. I'll let you know. Whatever happened, it is an internal issue.

See my postings about the Marzocchi MX Comp 85. About $200, 85MM of travel, adjustable pre-load and rebound. You have to sort of "disassemble" the fork for the rebound, but mine seems just right, straight from the factory. I just abused it for the first time at Afton and was really impressed with how stiff and comfortable it really is. Check one out.

I "settled" on a Manitou Black Super Air. Man, forks are expensive! I checked the Fox line - WHOA, big $$$'s. I thought technology is supposed to become more affordable with time....
I like the weight, remote lockout and beefy stanchions of the Super Air. And, the price started to seem reasonable after a little research. I am really looking forward to riding it!
Thanks for your input!

The Manitou Black Super Air rides sweet!
I have to add that Erik's in SLP went above and beyond to get me back on the trail. Less than 24 hours from time of order to my wheels hitting the ground. Luckily QBP had the fork in stock. Thanks Aaron and Mike!
