Sept. 3rd Cities/Campus

Looking at doing a group ride in the cities on Sept 3. Gonna probably be a few guys from STC comming down for it and whoever else shows up. Would love to see some people show up for this one. Should be a good time with a descent mix of riders and styles. Could start riding around 12 noon and see where it takes us. Meet in Dinkytown at Eriks. Seems to be a fairly central location for everyone and easy to get to.

My Saturday is up in the air. Right now it looks like I can't make it. But if plans change, I will try to show up. This should be fun and I have yet to do a real group urban ride with my Big Hit. If I am riding that, I can't do much trials though......too many bikes to pick from......but all are fun.....:)

guys, gas went up here in duluth today... It would cost me around $70 to drive down and back... This sucks, sometimes I hate living up here, so I may or may not be coming. I just don't know if it would be worth the money for a few hours of riding.

Well, of the 7 of us that showed up only 1 was from the twin cities area. I'm rather dissapointed with everyone that said they might show up. Everyone always seems to talk about riding but never actually does ride... I just don't get it. The 6 of us that arn't local drove from either St Cloud or Northfield to do a "group ride" with the guys in town. I think this is the last time I bother trying to setup a group ride cause it is just not worth it. So, for the drive at least Burrito Loco was excellent, so that was nice.

Hey Austin,

Glad you made it out! Nice to see new riders joining us. I hear ya on the group rides, however Dave makes a good point. For us that drive an hour or more, its a drag to set up big group rides, only to have others decide last minute not to attend. We will continue our normal rides, so I'll be sure to keep ya posted. I have a few pictures that I took, and I'll try and get those up soon.

I had a good time guyz untill the f'n rain started (just about the time of the tire pinch...mang.) It would be nice if the boyz that say they will show that are actually FROM the cities show. We drive down to ride with people that are like 5 minutes away...WTH?
