Anyone up for Levis this Saturday?? Sorry it's such a late notice but I just decided to go. My parents are staying at Jellystone down that way this weekend. I looked and Levis isn't that far from there! So, I figure on staying with them and hit up Levis Saturday. I could also use a guide or any suggestions, never been here. Thanks!

would love to go, but have prior comittments. Be sure to take a map, compass and cell if you go alone., its easy to lose your sense of direction there. The current map at the WORBA site is pretty accurate.

Can't make it! Recommend posting on http://www.wors.org/home.php
You will have to register on the site.

You can get lost at Levis-Trow and end up riding up hill alot so make sure you get a map, in fact print one off ahead of time.

Maps printed. I'll have my GPS with me so that'll help find my way. If anyone decides to go, call my cell since I'm leaving now. Later! 763-498-1132

Question for those who have been to L-T... is it pretty much rideable for someone who is a little past intermediate rider? I can clear most everything at Memorial except some of the downhill into the quarry, the quarry itself, and the nasty downhill that heads to the GC for reference.

I'd like to make the trek to Levis-Trow sometime (probably not tomorrow), but if I'm going to be hiking my bike/going slowly than molasses for half the trail (don't mind walking stunts/nasty sections if they are intermittent) I'll have to hold off until I get a little more bike handling ability.

Hmmm... wonder what time Ryan was planning on being at the trailhead...

Thanks

Isaac

I don't have a set time at this point, playing it by ear. But, my guess is between 10-12. Feel free to call me.

This trail is definately rideable for you. This is more of an edurance trail to me since it so long and hilly. Really no stunts, there is a currvy wood platform between the two huge rocks which is the closest thing. Cliffhanger is the most difficult in my mind. The views make this an awsome Fall trail.

The key to this trail is to know where you are going so you climb the least amount of hills as possible. I have a fairly decent system worked out by hitting dead turkey right away.

Let me know how you like Levis, Ryan, and what condition the trails are in. I've been there once, but it started raining so I didn't get far. I'm thinking of stopping off there while I'm in Eau Claire on business later this month.

Have a good ride
