...they would like to part with in decent shape? My 13 year old is now addicted to Mtn Biking... YAY! We hit Lebanon 3x per week and now he wants SPD pedals and shoes, the problem is I can't see spending $160 for the set when he's going to be growing out of them in 1 season.

Anyone have a set they wish to offload for under $100? He needs a size 9.5 or 10.

I have an old set of Nashbar Shoes (lace up with velcro Flap) with Shimano cleats on them that I found in the garage this weekend while cleaning it out.

They are in very good shape and I have no need of them

They are Size 9.0 I think I'll check later today and let you know.

Maybe get him some PowerStraps until he is done growing?

Regardless, go with Time or Egg Beaters.

I have a set of new Shimano pedals that came with my Gary Fisher.

You are welcome to give them a try. If they work, you can have them for whatever you think is a fair price (read: cheap).

SPD mtb/recreational shoes. Size 43. Shimano SH-M033 lace ups, used a bit, but still in ok shape. Yours for $15 if you want them.
