TCBC (http://www.mtn.org/tcbc/) is the best source for centuries that I know of. They may be a little skeptical of a fixie, though.

thanks for the reply. what i'm looking for is a route that would be good for a ss and fixe, 50 out and 50 back. nothing organized, just a good way to spend a sunday.

I've done several centuries just riding West from my place in St. Louis Park. We'd just basically get to the North West side of Lake Minnetonka, and then hop on county road 6, and take that until you reach your 50 mile marker, then turn around. It's a pretty smooth road, with a wide shoulder, and low traffic. Not too mention it's fairly flat too. I always prefer to ride West on centuries, as you'll moist likely have a tailwind for the ride home.

The TCBC has a bike atlas that lists plenty of routes in all areas of the Cities (including centuries). I like to use it to get fresh ideas of routes to ride. The western suburbs (Medina, Plymouth, Loretto, Rockford, Hamel etc.) seem to be 'road biker' heaven based on the numbers that are out every weekend. You can buy the book at just about any LBS.

Hey now, there's an idea! I'm sick of riding my fixie to Chaska and back by myself. ;) A SS roadbike century for MTBers? We could call it "The SSentury". Clever, huh?
