SS at Afton

For all of you that have ridden SS at Afton, what would be a good gearing to ride? Would 34x18 be too stiff? Thanks.

i rode it at night, 1 lap, on a 29 w/32x19 and would never been able to do more. so for me, 34x18 on a 26 would be evil.
