Buck -
I have a few questions:

How far/long from Mpls to get down there?

How much will it be to ride there?

How many trails and of type (down hill, terrain P like, ect) - I'm asking so that I can pass on to others..

Also got some pics of the trails?

Thanks,

No one at RASC has mentioned cost yet. I can find out though

From minneapolis I would say around like 1hr 15 min...give or take 15minutes...

The trails that will be open will be a 4mi lintermediate course for the XCers and the DH trail.

There are pics of the DH stuff here, I will try and get some of the XC stuff...

as for the website...shoot them an e-mail and suggest it. I'll be sure to keep this thread up to date for everyone that comes here!

Thanks

The stuff below is from Jeff @ RASC: I may cover gas for the DH guys...more details on that after I talk with them.

Come, ride, and enjoy the hills and woods in this beautiful Zumbro Valley
setting – and get a good workout!
The cross country (XC) trails will be free to all riders during the remainder of
August. The downhill course will be free to riders on August 13th. Other riding
dates for the downhill course will be announced later. A shuttle service will be
available to return downhill bikers back to the start. There will be a $5 fee
for this service.

Rideable trails include:

XC Novice Trails - This ½ mile loop with mild gradients and minimal obstacles is
located on top of the slopes. There are also 2 miles of two-way trails located
along the bottom of the west hills that provide a nice ride. The service road
can be used for the climb to the top.

XC Intermediate Trail – A loop of approximately 2 miles is complete (it will
eventually be 3½ miles). The trail features elegant lines with some technical
features, short but steep descents and a challenging ¾ mile climb.

Downhill Course – We will open the 3/4 mile downhill course to expert level
riders only. This course has a 240-foot vertical drop and 28 challenging
features including a 75-foot log ride, an 8-foot cliff drop and several tabletop
jumps. Helmets and pads for the downhill are required. Please note - the course
is still under construction on top and on the lower tabletops. Speed will have
to be controlled.
The Chalet food concession will not be open so bring your lunch and sport
drinks. A grill will be provided for those who want to cook. Helmets and signed
liability waivers (18 and under signed by parent) are required for all bikers.

If you have questions or suggestions, please drop me an email. Come out and
enjoy the trails.
Thanks
Jeff
