Hola - I'm new to this bike thing and have been going to Theo Wirth a bunch. I like the last part with the jumps and bridge thing, but I want jumps like that all the time. Is there any place around here that's cool like that? Any info would be great - thanks

Well, I doesn't have many official "jumps" but go drive down to Lebanon Hills this weekend or some other time and give that trail a shot. It's a notch or two up from Wirth. You should get your fix for the day at least. You can run the "X" -> "XX" loop over and over 'til you hearts content or run laps on the outside loop and just blast. There's little jumps and hips and berm-ie-things all over the trail, you just need to get to know the trail then ride it FAST enough. It defiantely has more trail features than Wirth. Don't let the "X", "XX" thing scare you either. It's all rideable trail, nothing "SUPER EXTREME", and there is one little table top back there that you will like. Just check stuff out before you hit it the first time. Have fun.

There are some future plans, possibly in the works, that will allow some jumps at Theo. I am getting heavily involved and want to plan a section similar to the one at the Technical Time Trail from the Chaindrive I did this year. It was a Rhythm section of tables and rollable doubles.....really cool and anyone could ride them. The problem with places like the Edina trails is that it is do or die there. I want something built for everyone of every skill level that is solid and safe. It can be done and I know how to do it......it's how most BMX tracks are designed. Kids as young as 3 can race on most BMX tracks, yet pros can catch huge air off of the same track.

Anyway, until then......there isn't much besides the Edina Trails.
