The average speed of the rider with the current best time, Dave Zabriskie (USA - CSC) is 54.68km/h. This is the fastest average speed of any rider in a time trial of the Tour de France.
That's 34 MPH for 12 miles for the metric challenged. YIKERS!!!

It would be great to see Zadriskie win the stage. I would also like to see Horner win a stage this year as well.
