Salem Hills Trail Work Thursday June 23 6:00pm

Ok all,

The city and Trailsource have begun work at Salem, and we need to get people out there to finish off the work they have done.

We have had good crews the last 2 weeks and progress is looking good.

We will once again be spreading out the dirt from dingo work, some backslope cutting, and grubbing out stumps and shaving roots from the trail tread.

We will be working just north of the bridge on the west side of the pond if you get here late this week.

The weather gurus are saying upper 90s with humidity tommorrow (chance at 100!). Maybe a tad hot for a trail session. Just a thought. I know I'll be hanging out in the AC if it's 100 degrees and humid!

Trail Work Update....

Since the temp is expected to be near 100 today, trailwork at Salem will be a very easy affair.

I do not plan to get alot done tonight but I will be there at 6:00 and will be happy to have any help that decides to come out and swelter with me.

If you do come make sure and bring whatever you personally need to stay healthy.

I will have a 2 1/2 gallon Jug of water, 1 gallon jug of gatorade, and bug spray available for everyones use.

I'll be out there. I don't plan on moving too fast but I'll be there. I had thoughts of riding before trailwork but I'm scratching that idea.
