The Harbor Bar is having there annual "Riversplash Reggae Bash", so I'll be camping next door and riding on Saturday.Camping is cheap, the trail is great, the food is great, the music is great, and theres a bikini contest where the past winners have usually done something "extra" to win!:crazy2:
So hopefully some of you want to join in on the fun, a group ride would be great.

Thanx for the fabulous outporing of responses, my whole idea was to get a group ride going with some :beer_yum: and good times afterwardsso much for that.

Memorial Trail is in Red Wing, about 45 minutes south of St. Paul.

Ended before it started.... not bad at all...

I'm out of town that whole week (so miss the race the previous Sunday as well), otherwise I'd be down for at minimum the ride. Odds are, once we get within a month or so of the date there may be a little more interest pop up.

In sympathy for your "dead" thread....

Really tough that weekend, as it is July 4th and I'm sure most everybody has long-ranged plans.

Is it that weekend every year? If so, might be interested next year :D

It's a great trail and a good area to hang out after.. But I'm not able to do it this weekend.

Try some off weekend.

I am a local and, I will probably be around/willing to participate in biking and/or harborfest, have you been there? the place where the skanks run free. needless to say I'll be there

Mike, it seems you're a little too organized and forward thinking for people around here. ;)

Let it die out for a while, then bump it again about mid July. It'll be like it's a whole new idea! :)

Sorry Waitabit, I have to still your thunder momentarily. Hey all, interesting thread. Although I have to disagree with TML. I'm a forward thinking indivivual myself. However, I'm quite buisy at this point to reply to all post that pop up. Really buisy organizing a trail bridge project that you're all invited to. Wouldn't it be nice to ride the new bridge on the 30th. Also after last nights storm I'm sure we have allot of stuff down. Now back to you Waitabit. Did I hear someone say bikini contest? Count me in. What could be better? Good ride, food, music, drinks, and girlies in bikinis. HOOAH.

You said you'll be camping next door...is there a camp ground or are you sleeping in your car? I think I might get friend or two together and join you. Did someone say bikinis?

The Harbor Bar? I love that little place. Right on the corner of Laurel and Owens in Stillwater.Actually its across from Red Wing in Hager City Wisconsin, so the beers a little cheaper!:crazy2:
