I keep hearing all this great stuff about Steeplechase but I dont have a DH/Freeride rig. Are there any XC trails or is the downhill section rideable on a XC bike if I bypass some of the big hits?

They are in the process of building a 4 miles intermediate section of XC trails. Once that is done I believe that they will have the area open to riding. There are plans for another section that will be an expert area that will have freeride options.
As for the DH trail, you can ride it with a rigid single, there were a couple of people that tackled it on those after we got done. It has optional lines on it.
