I am looking for a riding partner for the Memorial trail in Red Wing. I bike the trail a couple times a week, normally after work. I would consider myself still pretty green, but would like to improve by riding with someone who would push me a bit.
You can contact me off-list or we could use this thread as a way to get a group of folks that are looking for someone to ride with.

Larry- The best idea is to probably stop in at The Route Bike Shop on Main St. in RW. I used to work there and they are always setting up group rides. Either way, you could find someone to ride with by asking them too. I get down there to see my parents every once in a while and i usually have my bike to hit up the trails. If I'm heading down that way I will drop you an email or post.

By the way...is this the same Larry Warrington that is related to Mark, Ann, Andy, Tom and Chris? If it is....I have met you before. My parents live next door to them.

Well. Good luck and keep riding!

Larry - I'm far from an expert, but I try and get up on the bluff at least 2-3 times a week if the weather cooperates. Look for a blue 29er. I'm far from blazing fast, so no telling if you'll actually get pushed or not. When do you get off work, we could meet up next week sometime if the weather is decent. You aren't Dahmer-like are ya? :crazy2:

Mike - It absolutely poured last night... and then absolutely poured this morning, so I'm guessing today is a washout... if it doesn't rain anymore tonight tomorrow will probably be tacky to dry in most areas.

Sorry. Been away from the forum for a bit.
As far as I know, I have chopped everyone up who has ever thought I was Dahmer-ish, so I can say with some authority that no one thinks I am like that.
I have been biking to work and back so if I make it on the hill it isn't until after 5, but I can easily be on the trail before that if that worked in someone's schedule better.
