I am not sure if this has been posted here before but I stumbled on this site and thought this would be so much fun. http://www.raysmtb.com/ Check out the video. They have a ton of cool stuff and even have a Foam Pit. A place like that would be so sweet to have around here

Well, in the mean time you can ride skateparks. If the demand gets big enough, the skateparks are likely to cater to freeriders more. I ride the Tri-City Skatepark on my P.2 and I am sure you could ride JSAW (indoors and wood) too. I have not been there yet, but I heard it's good.

Hey Ben,
Yeah man it has been posted before, still cool to see the videos and pics though...all those are new from the last time, I have been watching it closely. He has been very successful with it. I think the same thing could be done in MN, I actually have been researching buildings and cost and all that for something that would be year a round operation. I'd have way more then just FR stuff though. Overhead would be quite a bit to start but I think if you do it right you could make a killing with a place like that. Someday you might just see it MN...;)

I ride down in La Crosse Sometimes on there Concrete Park. I just thinking it would be sweet to have something more in the lines of skinnies and a big foam pit to ride in the winter.

Ray's looks really cool, and there is technology in Minnesota to make indoor biking even cooler. Vertical Endeavors in Saint Paul has a pretty cool rock climbing gym. They recently expanded the gym using new indoor walls that are much more like rocks than previous walls. If this could be addapted to biking, it could make for a way cool indoor experiance.

I used to climb there every weekend with ZRAC. That is a great climbing gym!!!

Ever climb at Praire Walls in Rochester I know the guy that built it, and I am one of three to do a 5.11 campus move only line...11 moves in a row...uh, it was tough but awesome!!!!

My dad and I have been kickin' ideas around about a indoor mtn bike park for about 5yrs. We have some killer ideas we just need the money to get it rollin', maybe when I graduate school it'll happen!

I have never climbed at Praire Walls in Rochester. I will have to check it out next winter.

You have made other pretty cool things happen, and do not think starting the indoor bike park is out of your range. Good luck.

I hear that place is a blast to ride at. It would be awsome to see something like that in minneapolis.

and while you're talking about climbing, anyone been to vertical endeavors in Duluth lately? I haven't been there in a while. I used to lead climb there every other night all winter. I'm kind of pissed that I stopped... :(
